What is more important
Than sending your children to a school where they love to learn?
The more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.

Valentina Ibishi – PYP and MYP German Language Acquisition and MYP IAS Teacher

Ms. Ibishi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Prishtina. After graduating high school from Pristina High School she had the privilege to be asked to work as an English Language and Social Science teaching assistant for a semester; that experience helped her to gain an emotional connection with students and taught her effective methods and skills in the teaching area. Finishing the B2 honors level for the German Language at Goethe Institut (Germany’s worldwide cultural association institution) opened doors for her to work as a German Language Teacher for two years running a private course in Prishtina.

Following this, she worked at Prishtina High School as a middle and high school German Language Teacher and in the past semester, she had the privilege to also teach Introduction to Political Science. Throughout the years, Ms. Shabani has made sure to follow some of her principles and volunteered in two NGOs in Kosovo, who advocate for human rights and gender equality. From all these experiences, she understood that teaching is her biggest passion and there is no more exciting and fulfilling job than working with kids!

In January 201, Ms. Ibishi joined ILG school as a German Language Teacher. Ms. Ibishi strongly believes that education has the most influential impact in designing the right steps for the future of our youngsters and she is very pleased to be part of ILG School – an excellent place to fulfill this goal.
