What is more important
Than sending your children to a school where they love to learn?
The more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.

Brikena Vokopola – Grade 9 and DP Math

Hi everyone,

I’m Brikena Vokopola, and I’m excited to be joining ILG International School in Kosovo as a Math teacher. I’ve spent the past 12 years teaching in China, specializing in math and science education. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse curricula, integrating innovative teaching methods and educational technology to make learning more engaging and accessible for students. My goal is to help students develop confidence in their mathematical abilities and see the subject as a valuable tool for problem-solving and critical thinking.

Beyond teaching, I have a passion for lifelong learning and creativity. I love cycling and hiking, practicing yoga, and staying active, as well as traveling to new places to explore different cultures. I’m also a huge coffee lover and enjoy unwinding with good music and art. Most importantly, I adore animals—especially my cat, who keeps me entertained with endless antics!

I look forward to meeting my students and collaborating with colleagues to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment. Let’s make this a great year together!
