Ms. Adrijana Petrovic joined ILG School in 2012. She is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)- American University in Kosovo (AUK). She is currently working on completing her Master Degree of Arts in Education (Innovation in Learning and Teaching) at the University of South Wales, UK.
Adrijana is now trained to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). She is passionate about working with the Early Years and believes in teaching life skills in addition to an ageappropriate curriculum along with creating wonderful school time memories.. Adrijana enjoys her volunteer work with a variety of non-governmental organizations.
Moreover, she is a member of the KETNET (Kosovo English Teachers Network).After completing the ‘’Read Aloud Project’’ sponsored by the US department of State and the Regional English Language Office (RELO) , Adrijana was selected to continue with training other teachers in Kosovo and the region about the importance of read aloud in the classroom and how to prepare full lessons from a single book. Finally, Adrijana is the staff representative currently as well. Adrijana loves to learn languages and already speaks English, Albanian, Serbian, Macedonian,Italian, Turkish and Spanish.
She is self thought and is trying to learn playing the guitar and the keyboard during her free time.
