Mrs. Hasnija (Haska) Prelvukaj-Moesman received her university degree and master in architecture from the University of Pristina and she is currently getting a degree in “Child Care and Welfare”.
Mrs. Moesman’s career in architecture was sidetracked when she had the opportunity to work and live abroad in the Gaza Strip, Solomon Islands, and Sudan.
Mrs. Moesman became involved in an elementary school in Gizo, Solomon Islands, that was accommodated in a UNICEF tent after the 2007 earthquake that hit the island state, as a volunteer teacher. Later, when she moved to Khartoum, she served as library assistant, learning center teacher, substitute teacher, and pre-school homeroom teacher at the Khartoum American School.
In addition, she was the President of the PTA at the same school for four years. This experience laid the foundation for where she is now as a teacher. Mrs. Moesman joined ILG in September 2014 as a Grade 2 Teacher. In March 2020, She took on the role of Team Coordinator for Grade 4 during Virtual Learning.
Ms. Moesman now leads our Daycare Program for 1-3 year olds. Mrs. Moesman is trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Mrs. Moesman and her husband have two children. She loves traveling, as well as gardening and spending time with the family in the family home in Montenegro.
