Empowering Global Scholars through the IB Diploma Programme
ILG School proudly offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for students in Grades 11 and 12, providing an academically rigorous and globally respected education that prepares students for success at top universities worldwide.
The IB DP is widely recognized as one of the most challenging and comprehensive pre-university programmes, accepted by over 2,000 universities in more than 70 countries, including prestigious institutions across Europe, North America, and beyond.
IB Diploma Programme Structure
Students enrolled in the IB DP complete:
- Six Subject Courses
- Three at Higher Level (HL)
- Three at Standard Level (SL)
Subjects span languages, sciences, mathematics, humanities, and the arts, allowing students to tailor their learning to personal interests and future goals.
- Three at Higher Level (HL)
- The IB Core
A unique and integral part of the programme that promotes critical thinking, personal growth, and real-world engagement:- Extended Essay (EE) – an independent, university-style research paper
- Theory of Knowledge (TOK) – a course exploring the nature of knowledge
- Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) – experiential learning through community service, artistic expression, and physical activity
- Extended Essay (EE) – an independent, university-style research paper
Assessment and Achievement
- Each subject is graded on a scale of 1 to 7, with 7 as the highest score.
- Up to 3 additional points can be earned from the IB Core components, bringing the maximum possible score to 45 points.
