Atanasiya Aleksieva

Atanasiya Aleksieva is a dedicated, creative, and caring Primary/Junior educator passionate about fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Linguistics and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.

During her teaching placements, Ms. Aleksieva developed experience in inquiry-based learning, social-emotional learning, differentiated instruction, and inclusive teaching practices. She has completed professional training in Accessible Instruction, Inclusive and Responsive Teaching, Trauma-Informed Practice, and assessment.

She is committed to ongoing professional development through the IB, particularly in inquiry-based learning, assessment, and the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Outside of school, she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors. She is excited to join ILG School and contribute to its vibrant learning community.

Delvina Blakçori Bujupi – EY2 Homeroom Teacher

Delvina Blakçori-Bujupi is a Preschool Education graduate from the University of Prishtina and has been a valued member of the ILG School community since 2018. Having grown up in an international environment, she places strong value on diversity, equality, and inclusion. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment where every student feels confident, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Ms. Blakçori has a strong interest in data-informed teaching and completed a Data Analytics course through Harvard Business School to further strengthen her approach to student assessment and evaluation. She has also completed a range of professional development courses and attended numerous webinars and seminars focused on teaching and learning, literacy, student motivation, and Early Years education.

She is committed to continuous professional growth and to using evidence-based approaches to support student development and enhance learning outcomes.

Ervin Turici – Grade 9 and DP English Language and Literature Teacher, DP Albanian Teacher and Grade 12 HR Support

Ervin Turiçi is an experienced IB educator from Albania with a Master’s Degree in English Teaching from the University of Foreign Languages in Tirana. He has received several International Baccalaureate certificates and brings extensive experience across the PYP, MYP, and DP programmes.

Before joining ILG School, Mr. Turiçi worked in Thailand for two years as a PYP Teacher at an IB World School. Prior to this, he taught English Language Acquisition in Tirana across the MYP and DP for five years.

His IB experience includes serving as a Personal Project Supervisor, CAS Supervisor, Extended Essay Supervisor, Teacher Trainer, and Head of Languages. This will be his sixth year at ILG School, where he is committed to empowering students to become critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and compassionate individuals.

Korab Maloku – PYP and MYP Physical Education and SMP Member

Korab Maloku is a Physical Education teacher, sports coach, and sports leader with extensive experience in education, basketball, swimming, and sports management. He holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sports from the University of Prishtina, along with professional development in the Management of Olympic Sports Organizations and European Aquatics coaching.

Mr. Maloku has been an IB PYP and MYP Physical Education Teacher at ILG School since 2014, supporting students’ physical, personal, and social development through sport. Since 2016, he has also worked as a swimming coach at Step Sports Center and has served as Head of Step Swimming Club since 2025.

His professional experience also includes youth basketball coaching, sports administration, participation in the FIBA Europe Youth Development Programme, and serving as Assistant Coach of the Kosovo U-16 National Team. He is passionate about using education and sport to develop young people’s confidence, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong healthy habits.

Zoe Dudzic

Zoe Dudzic earned her Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education and English from SUNY Buffalo State University in 2025, graduating Summa Cum Laude. A Buffalo, NY native, she grew up surrounded by Western New York staples such as chicken wings, snowy winters, and hockey.

Ms. Dudzic’s love of international education began when she first started studying Mandarin Chinese, a passion she later pursued formally at Buffalo State while serving as a representative for the university’s Center for China Studies. She has traveled to Japan, Canada, and Colombia, and completed a student teaching placement in a 4th grade IB PYP classroom in Medellín, Colombia. There, she co-planned transdisciplinary units integrating ELA, social studies, and science, and delivered English phonics instruction to a classroom of 100% English Language Learners.

Across her work in Buffalo and beyond, Ms. Dudzic has worked with ELL, immigrant, refugee, and international students in K-8 settings, and she is skilled in differentiation, inquiry-based learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy grounded in the IB Learner Profile. She believes the strongest academic outcomes grow from trust, and that education should treat the multilingual and transnational knowledge students bring to the classroom as an academic asset.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Dudzic enjoys baking and cooking, journaling with a well-loved stationery collection, and reading both fiction and non-fiction. Fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin Chinese, with Spanish (and now, Albanian!) studies underway, Ms. Dudzic is excited to grow as an educator at ILG in Kosovo.

Mirlinda Kusari – Librarian / MYP Coordinator

Mirlinda Kusari has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Prishtina. After a few years of experience in administration she joined ILG in 2010. In administration, Mirlinda was part of major developments of the school and has contributed not only to administering the ‘student lifecycle’ from registration or admission to graduation or leaving, but also to the academic coordination and substitute teaching. 

 

Ms. Kusari became a teaching assistant during the school year 2017-2018. Since 2019 she has held the role of whole school Librarian. 

 

ILG School uses Follett Destiny Library Manager for managing their library resources, and Ms. Kusari has been trained in this library management system and helps to strengthen the crucial bond between the library, the classroom, and home. Ms. Kusari is also trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), the IB Whole School Library Continuum which is vital as she works with each teacher to support their units of inquiry, and IB Leading and Managing Teams.

 

Ms. Kusari is the MYP Personal Project Coordinator and assists students in developing, identifying and documenting the use of  their ATL skills for the completion of the learning and product requirements of their Personal Projects.

Gresa Kurti – MYP German and DP Visual Arts Teacher

 

Gresa Kurti is an educator and ceramic artist with a strong passion for teaching, languages, and the arts. She holds a BSc in German Language and Literature from the University of Prishtina and has completed her Master’s degree in Ceramics Sculpture and Teaching at the University of Arts in Tirana.

Gresa has been part of ILG School for the past three years, teaching German Acquisition across the PYP and MYP and DP Visual Arts. Her experience across the IB programmes has strengthened her commitment to inquiry, creativity, and student agency, encouraging learners to ask questions, explore ideas, and take ownership of their learning.

Her professional development includes IB Category 2 workshops in DP Visual Arts and MYP Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning. Alongside education, Gresa maintains an active practice in sculptural ceramics and has exhibited her work in Kosovo and Albania, developed pottery courses, and published With Hands in Clay: Ceramics for Beginners.
