Anthony Hamillton – Executive Director

Anthony Hamilton brings extensive experience in leading and improving schools in both the United Kingdom and internationally. With substantial senior leadership experience and a proven track record of delivering sustained whole school improvement, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational excellence, strategic leadership and school effectiveness across a wide range of educational settings.

During twelve years as a Headmaster in England, he led a school from National Challenge status, placing it among the bottom 20% nationally, to the top 10% progress outcomes. This transformation was validated through three successful Ofsted inspections. Throughout his leadership career, he has consistently secured highly positive external evaluations, including Ofsted inspection outcomes, British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation reviews, and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation assessments. He also holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), reflecting his formal preparation and accreditation for senior school leadership in England.

Mr Hamilton’s leadership is founded on several key pillars that underpin sustained school success. These include a relentless focus on the quality of education; the provision of a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment; and the effective management of resources to ensure strong value for money. He is also deeply committed to staff development and professional growth, recognising that high quality teaching and leadership are central to achieving excellent outcomes. Furthermore, he places great importance on fostering strong partnerships among students, staff and families, ensuring that all members of the school community work collaboratively to secure the very best outcomes for every child.

Outside of education, Mr Hamilton is a distinguished former Paralympic athlete and double gold medallist. Representing Great Britain at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, he won gold medals in the 800m and 1500m events, establishing himself among the leading Paralympic middle-distance athletes of his generation. His achievements at the highest level of international sport reflect the determination, resilience, discipline, and pursuit of excellence that continue to define both his professional leadership and personal values.

Marc Abrioux – Board Chair

Marc Abrioux Born in France, educated in that country,  in the UK, and in Canada, Marc  Abrioux considers himself to be fully bilingual.  Having started to teach the IB Diploma a few years after its introduction, he has occupied several positions in national and international schools, including that of  Head of two IB World Schools.  Since his retirement, in addition to contributing to the development of IB programmes as an examiner, author,  workshop leader, and team leader for IB authorization and evaluation visits,  Dr  Abrioux has served as a consultant to numerous schools across the world.

Mame Faye Rexhepi – Vice Chair

Mame Faye Rexhepi, a parent of two children currently in their fifth academic year at ILG School, Mame has been an active participant in the School community, serving as a Board member and contributor to policy development, as well as an active member of ILG CO. Mame’s professional background is in health, safety and environmental management systems, regulatory compliance, and waste and recycling consulting. She holds am masters degree in international legal studies from the London School of Oriental and African Studies.

Paddy Siyanga Knudsen – Board Secretary

Paddy Siyanga Knudsen is a Development Economist with over 20 years of professional experience in development cooperation and public policy. She lived in Kosovo, with two children in ILG for 3 years until 2023. She serves on various professional boards including school board in Kosovo and Germany (IB schools). Paddy has lived and worked in Zambia, Tanzania, China, Malaysia, Kosovo and now in Germany.

Partin Pruthi – Board Treasurer

Partin Pruthi is a legal expert specializing in Finance, Information Technology, and Data Protection. He serves on the Board of ILG as the Treasurer, and is committed to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the School.

He also currently serves as the Head of the Legal Department at TEB in Kosovo. In this capacity, he leads the bank’s legal operations and also represents TEB in the Legal Committee of the Kosovo Banking Association, where he holds the position of Chairman.

His professional focus encompasses finance, corporate governance, compliance, cybersecurity, AI, and blockchains, areas in which he has provided counsel to numerous startups and established companies in Kosovo to mitigate legal risks and streamline operations. Additionally, Partin contributes to the development of legal infrastructure in Kosovo through his involvement in various committees and initiatives aimed at advancing the banking sector’s legal framework.

Alex Anderson – Board Member

Alex Anderson’s field is in international development, specialising in democracy, human rights, and conflict. He currently works with NGO projects in Ukraine for enhancing integrity in local-level humanitarian aid and reconstruction, and in long-term election observation across Eastern Europe. Previously, he led the International Crisis Group’s work on Kosovo. He holds a master’s degree with distinction in social policy and planning in developing countries from the London School of Economics. Involved in Kosovo since 1997, Alex is a parent at ILG School.

Martin Schyllert – Board Member

Martin Schyllert lived in Kosovo from 2017 to 2019 and had two children attending ILG.

During these years, Martin took on the role of chairman of the board as well as a short stint as interim executive director. With an international professional background in administration and HR, Martin enjoys being a part of assisting ILG in becoming the best version of itself.

Diellza Jakupi – DP Business Management Teacher / MYP Coordinator

Diellza Jakupi is an experienced educator and leader in international education, with a strong background in both mathematics and business. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Hasan Prishtina University and completed a specialized semester in Mathematics Education at St. Olaf College through the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Education program. During her time in Budapest, she actively researched instructional practices across different IB schools and served as a mathematics teacher for high school students at international math camps.

 

Diellza holds a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching with a specialization in Elementary and Middle School Education, and she is currently completing her dissertation in Business Management with a focus on Finance. She currently works as the Coordinator of Synchronized Learning and leads the Mathematics Department at Cornerstone Education Management, based in California. In addition to her leadership role, she serves as an IB Math Assessment Author for EdVault, where she develops and edits MYP-based mathematics assessments aligned with IB philosophy.

 

Her career includes teaching both MYP and DP Mathematics and Business Management at ILG School in Prishtina, where she also served as a staff representative on the Board of Directors. Diellza has also worked with EduTogether School, Southlands Online School, and QSI International School, delivering instruction in mathematics from middle school through pre-calculus levels.

 

Earlier in her career, she held various roles in the finance and administrative sectors, including positions as Finance Officer, Project Accountant, and Payroll Accountant, where she supported project reporting and payroll. Diellza is also the founder of the Mathminds Foundation, a non-governmental organization focused on promoting mathematics education in Kosovo and abroad through camps, competitions, and collaborative activities. Her commitment to education and innovation is further demonstrated by her certifications in IB Professional Development.

Kean Kehoe – MYP IAS Teacher, DP Literature & Performance Teacher, DP History Teacher, and DP Extended Essay Coordinator

Mr. Kean Kehoe is an experienced educator with a background in English and History. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and History, with Classical Studies as an additional subject, as well as Master’s degrees in Post-Primary Education and European History.

Mr. Kehoe has taught in Ireland, Spain, and Kosovo across public and private schools and language academies. Since 2021, he has also worked with the State Examinations Commission in Ireland as an examiner and invigilator. He holds qualifications in English Language Teaching to Adults and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

He is excited to bring his international teaching experience and passion for education to the ILG School community.
