Besim Uka – Finance and Administrative Manager

Mr. Besim Uka holds a BA in International Sales and Marketing from the International Business College in Mitrovica with a double degree from Lillebaelt Academy of Professional Higher Education in Denmark.

Mr. Uka has attended a number of relevant trainings, including USAID Young Entrepreneurs Program, a training on Entrepreneurship Skills Development Program, EUKOSVET VI, and an EU funded and administered training on Entrepreneurship Skills for New Venture Creation.

Mr. Uka has extensive professional experience in the field of business management. In 2013, he moved to the banking sector when he joined TEB Sh.A and worked there until 2015. Then, in 2015, he started working at Banka Ekonomike Sh.A where he worked for four years in different departments and held different positions. More specifically, he served as a Corporate Officer at the Corporate Department as well as a Branch Manager.

Mr. Uka joined ILG School in November 2019 in the role of Finance and Administrative Manager.

Petrit Cërvadiku – Technical Support and Media Assistant

Mr. Petrit Cërvadiku joined ILG School this year as the Technical Support and Media Assistant. Mr. Cervadiku has over 13 years of professional experience in the field of Information Technology and Management Information Systems.

For the last eight years, Mr. Cervadiku has worked in the IT Department at Select Computers. Prior to that, he worked in IT management positions in the private sector with different Tech companies including Bucaj Corporation, Ipko Telecom, Neptun, and Ricoh.

He also has eight different international certifications in the field of Information Technology, including Cisco and Microsoft Certification. When asked why he joined ILG he said: “I joined ILG because I strongly believe in its values and vision. My aim is that my contribution to ILG will equip students with solid knowledge, confidence, and hard skills to compete in the global job market.

Trendolina Uka – Administrative Assistant

Ms. Trendolina Uka Zeneli joined ILG School in October 2019, with over eight years of working experience. She has excelled in a wide array of functions – from working mostly with International companies such as: Dyncorp International LLC, Isko Investments LLC, TEB Bank, Bucaj Corporation LLC, etc.

Ms. Uka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Desktop Support Technician Title from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is thrilled to be a part of the ILG School team and gives her best everyday to provide a safe, positive, and creative environment where our students can thrive and find inspiration to reach their dreams.

Donika Hamiti – Daycare (Crèche and Toddlers) Teaching Assistant/Nurse

Ms. Donika Hamiti joined ILG School as a nurse and a pre-school teaching assistant in 2019. She graduated from the University of Prishtina with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and she has almost completed her Master’s Degree in Health Management.

During her studies she has worked in pediatric hospital and she is very happy to be part of this wonderful community and make it not only her job but her passion.

Ms. Hamiti has been working with children for over ten years now and she loves watching and helping children reach their greatest potential. Outside of school she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Adrijana Petrović – Early Years Specialist Teacher

Ms. Adrijana Petrovic joined ILG School in 2012. She is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)- American University in Kosovo (AUK). She is currently working on completing her Master Degree of Arts in Education (Innovation in Learning and Teaching) at the University of South Wales, UK.

Adrijana is now trained to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). She is passionate about working with the Early Years and believes in teaching life skills in addition to an ageappropriate curriculum along with creating wonderful school time memories.. Adrijana enjoys her volunteer work with a variety of non-governmental organizations.

Moreover, she is a member of the KETNET (Kosovo English Teachers Network).After completing the ‘’Read Aloud Project’’ sponsored by the US department of State and the Regional English Language Office (RELO) , Adrijana was selected to continue with training other teachers in Kosovo and the region about the importance of read aloud in the classroom and how to prepare full lessons from a single book. Finally, Adrijana is the staff representative currently as well. Adrijana loves to learn languages and already speaks English, Albanian, Serbian, Macedonian,Italian, Turkish and Spanish.

She is self thought and is trying to learn playing the guitar and the keyboard during her free time.

Besarta Isufi – Early Years 3 Teaching Assistant

Ms.Besarta Isufi joined ILG in 2011 and has been working with Early Years students as a teaching assistant. She grew up in Pristina, Kosovo, and graduated with a Master in Childhood Education from AAB University. Ms. Isufi is trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).

She genuinely enjoys nurturing and caring for Early Years. Her philosophy is that each child is unique, therefore they learn and thrive at their own pace. She loves exploring different cultures and speaks English, Spanish, Albanian and understands a bit of Serbian. She likes traveling, reading and spending time with family.

Diana Ibrahimi – Early Years Teaching Assistant

Ms. Diana Ibrahimi was raised in Preshevë. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the South East European University of Tetova. Prior to joining ILG School, she had been working as an EFL teacher in a primary school in Preshava.

In March 2019 she received her Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching Methodology at SEE University in Tetova. Ms. Ibrahimi is now trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).

She loves learning new languages and exploring new cultures. Ms. Ibrahimi is very pleased to be part of the ILG School staff and is excited to share her experiences with her new students.

Albulena Berisha – Daycare (Crèche and Toddlers) Teaching Assistant

Ms. Albulena Berisha joined ILG school in 2012, initially working as a substitute teacher then becoming a teaching assistant in 2016. Ms. Berisha is now trained in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Ms. Berisha is a graduate of customs and freight forwarding at Pjeter Budi college and currently is studying Child Care and Welfare at AAB University. She has always been passionate about working with children and loves being part of their educational development. She has a thorough knowledge of the English language as she finished her middle school years in the USA.

Leonida Mahmuti – Grade 1 CO-Teacher

Ms. Leonidë Mahmuti holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from AAB University, Prishtina and she is about to complete her Master’s degree in this area. Ms.Mahmuti is a TESOL/TEFL certified teacher from World TESOL Academy. She is also certified to teach English to young learners.

 

Ms. Mahmuti has more than five years of teaching experience. She worked as an English teacher with different groups of students prior to starting at ILG in 2019. Her greatest passion in life is teaching and she is pleased to continue her teaching career at ILG School. 

 

Ms. Mahmuti likes reading, cooking, and learning new languages. She speaks Albanian, English, Spanish, Italian, and a little Turkish.
