Anthony Hamillton – Executive Director

Anthony Hamilton brings extensive experience in leading and improving schools in both the United Kingdom and internationally. With substantial senior leadership experience and a proven track record of delivering sustained whole school improvement, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational excellence, strategic leadership and school effectiveness across a wide range of educational settings.

During twelve years as a Headmaster in England, he led a school from National Challenge status, placing it among the bottom 20% nationally, to the top 10% progress outcomes. This transformation was validated through three successful Ofsted inspections. Throughout his leadership career, he has consistently secured highly positive external evaluations, including Ofsted inspection outcomes, British Schools Overseas (BSO) accreditation reviews, and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation assessments. He also holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), reflecting his formal preparation and accreditation for senior school leadership in England.

Mr Hamilton’s leadership is founded on several key pillars that underpin sustained school success. These include a relentless focus on the quality of education; the provision of a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment; and the effective management of resources to ensure strong value for money. He is also deeply committed to staff development and professional growth, recognising that high quality teaching and leadership are central to achieving excellent outcomes. Furthermore, he places great importance on fostering strong partnerships among students, staff and families, ensuring that all members of the school community work collaboratively to secure the very best outcomes for every child.

Outside of education, Mr Hamilton is a distinguished former Paralympic athlete and double gold medallist. Representing Great Britain at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, he won gold medals in the 800m and 1500m events, establishing himself among the leading Paralympic middle-distance athletes of his generation. His achievements at the highest level of international sport reflect the determination, resilience, discipline, and pursuit of excellence that continue to define both his professional leadership and personal values.
