Anila Jashari – Elementary School Permanent Substitute

Anila is an Elementary Substitute Teaching Assistant at ILG School and is currently in her second year in this role. She is grateful to be part of the ILG community and values the supportive IB environment in which she continues to learn and grow.

She has completed IB PYP Category 1 Building Your IB Programme, along with professional training in anti-bullying and dyslexia. Anila is also a second-year Master’s student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tetova, bringing valuable knowledge of child development, communication, and individual needs to her work with students.

Before joining ILG, she gained experience supporting children with special educational needs as a personal and teaching assistant. This experience strengthened her understanding of inclusion and the importance of creating safe, supportive learning environments.

Anila is passionate about working with children and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth while contributing positively to the ILG community.

Mejreme Hakaj – Medical Officer

Mejreme Hakaj is the Medical Officer at ILG School, with an academic background in clinical healthcare and healthcare management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management.

Her professional development includes ICMEC Level I Child Safeguarding and Protection, Emotional Safety Academy II through Solidarity Works/Erasmus+, and an Introduction to Healthcare course through Stanford University. She has also completed additional training in effective leadership, project management, and interdisciplinary palliative care.

At ILG School, Mejreme is committed to supporting student health, safety, wellbeing, and health education, contributing to a safe and caring school environment.

Endrita Ibishi – Grades 1-10 Visual Arts Teacher and Grade 7 Homeroom Teacher

Ms. Endrita Ibishi joined the ILG School community in November 2024 as a Visual Arts Teacher. She holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” and has experience working in international school settings in Kosovo.

Ms. Ibishi is passionate about creativity, inquiry, and helping students express their ideas through art. She has worked with students of different ages and abilities, creating engaging opportunities to explore a variety of materials, techniques, and artistic ideas. Her students’ work has received international recognition, including being featured on CNN.

As an IB educator, Ms. Ibishi has completed professional development in both the PYP and MYP, including MYP Arts and Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning in the MYP. She is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their artistic identities.

In her free time, Ms. Ibishi enjoys travelling, photography, visual arts, and exploring new creative ideas and techniques. She is excited to continue her journey at ILG School and inspire students to become creative, curious, and confident lifelong learners.

Vlora Rexha – Early Years 3 Homeroom Teacher and Early Years Coordinator

 

Vlora Rexha is an experienced education professional with over 15 years of experience as an Early Years Lead in England. She has extensive expertise in supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing, and individual educational needs, and has worked closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ms. Rexha holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bath Spa University, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a Level 4 Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) qualification, and a Level 2 qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.

For the past year and a half, she has been based in Kosovo, working at an IB school as an Early Years Teacher and Early Years Coordinator, where she has continued to develop her expertise in Early Childhood Education, curriculum planning, and team coordination.

Leonard Wallstein

Leonard Alexander Wallstein is a new teacher at ILG School, bringing international teaching and educational experience from the Netherlands, Germany, New Zealand, Qatar, and South Africa. He studied at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and spent two years working as an IB educator in Germany.

His experience includes teaching students across Grades 7–10, with a particular focus on Mathematics. Having grown up in an international education environment in China, Mr. Wallstein values cultural diversity and multilingualism. In addition to his native German and English, he has studied Dutch and French.

He is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and is excited to join the ILG community and contribute to its international learning environment.

Albana Kqiku – Daycare Teaching Assistant

Albana Kqiku is an Early Years Specialist at ILG School, bringing six years of experience in education. She began her career as a Substitute Teacher and later spent three years working as a Teaching Assistant, gaining valuable experience supporting young learners and their individual needs.

She is currently completing her studies in Education, Care and Wellbeing and is passionate about creating warm, engaging, and supportive learning environments where children can explore, develop new skills, and learn through play and movement.

Albana is committed to continuous professional growth and looks forward to contributing to the ILG community in her new role.

Elma Maliqi – DP and MYP Albanian Teacher and Admin Assistant

Elma Maliqi Krasniqi is a licensed teacher of Albanian Language and Literature, having completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina.”

She has several years of teaching experience, including engagement in international educational institutions, where she has contributed to the implementation of contemporary pedagogical practices. Throughout her career, she has attended and completed various professional trainings, among which the “Peer Mentoring” program stands out, strengthening her skills in professional collaboration and the improvement of teaching practices.

Elma Maliqi Krasniqi is characterized by continuous professional dedication to creating an inclusive, well-structured, and results-oriented learning environment. Her pedagogical approach focuses on developing critical thinking, improving communication skills, and enhancing students’ academic performance, while promoting a culture of excellence and sustainable learning.

Teuta Kacabac – Early Years Specialist Teacher (Visual Arts and PE) and EY3 Co-Teacher

Teuta Kacabac joined the International Learning Group (ILG) in 2023 and currently serves as an EY1 Homeroom Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Care and Well-being from AAB College, Faculty of Social Sciences. Her journey at ILG began as a Student Teacher and Teaching Assistant, followed by roles as an Early Years Specialist and EY3 Homeroom Co-Teacher.

Teuta is committed to creating caring, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where children feel confident to explore, communicate, make choices, and develop independence. She believes in the value of play, inquiry, hands-on experiences, and meaningful opportunities for children to create and collaborate.

Her professional development includes IB PYP Category 1 training in Building Your IB Programme: Primary Years, as well as training in Early Years development, inquiry-based learning, inclusion, literacy, mathematics, student agency, and purposeful planning.

In addition to her work in education, Teuta has experience as a volunteer trainer with an NGO supporting women from diverse backgrounds through mentorship and skill-building. She is passionate about inclusion, empowerment, and lifelong learning.

Ferkije Pervetica – Elementary Counselor and EY1-Grade 5 PSE Teacher

Ms. Ferkije Pervetica joined the ILG School community in 2023 and serves as PYP Counselor, Counselor Corner Teacher, and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a focus on Learning Sciences, from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), Germany, where she also worked as a Teaching Assistant.

Ms. Pervetica has professional experience supporting children and young people through organizations including the National Association of Autism in Kosovo, HANDIKOS, and Global Communities’ Up to Youth project. At ILG, she supports students’ well-being, emotional development, and safety, helping create an inclusive and nurturing school environment.

She has completed Advanced Safeguarding Training (Level 3) by COBIS, a CEESA Counselor Workshop, and MTSS training focused on inclusive education. Ms. Pervetica speaks Albanian, English, and Turkish.

Outside of school, she enjoys reading, journaling, and taking care of cats.
