Johanna Means is from a small town called Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania (USA). Yes, it is the town that the movie ‘Groundhog Day’ is made after if you have ever seen that movie. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (USA) with a Master of Education in Mental and Physical Disabilities. Dr. Means has worked in education around the world for 11 years before deciding to further her education, graduating with a Doctor of Educational Leadership with a concentration in Special Education from Gwynedd Mercy University in Philadelphia (USA).
In her personal life, she has a passion for traveling and spending time with her fur-baby, Livy. My philosophy is to live your life with passion. Be passionate about the work you do, the community you serve, and the differences you can make. Educators have such a crucial role in helping students develop a love of learning.
Dr. Means has worked with all ages – including university level. She is looking forward to embracing the opportunity of leading the elementary school for ILG.
Ms. Besiana Pllana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Informatics, and is in the process of getting her Master’s Degree in Financial Markets and Banks in Riinvest College, Prishtine.
Ms. Pllana joined ILG School in August 2017, in the position of Administrative and Finance Assistant. In August 2020 she took on a new role as the Administration Coordinator and most recently was promoted to the position of Finance and Administrative Manager.
She enjoys reading, traveling, beekeeping and cooking.
What she loves the most about ILG is its diversity and for her ILG feels like home!
