Albulena Stublla – PYP French & Languages Coordinator

Ms. Albulena Stublla earned a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature at the University of Prishtina and has completed a year of a Master’s degree in French as a Second and Foreign Language at Aix en Provence. Albulena is now trained to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP).

She has been a member of ILG since 2012. Albulena is also a French language instructor at the Alliance Francaise in Prishtina. She is an expert in crepe making, enjoys creating crafts, and adores science fiction movies, especially Star Wars. Que la force soit avec toi!

Amanda Turici – PYP Coordinator and Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher

Amanda is an experienced educator with 16 years of experience in both public and private education. Amanda served in the Peace Corps from. 2008-2011, and is lucky to have lived, and worked, in the United States, Albania, Thailand, and now Kosova. 

Amanda graduated from Western Carolina University, in North Carolina with a degree in Education. She has completed several PYP workshops. Her teaching experiences range from high school to kindergarten and grades 1, 2, 3 and 4. She has also presented at multiple English teaching conferences in the Balkans. Amanda recently completed her TESOL certification and is applying to graduate school. 

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her two boys, reading (please send book recommendations!) and learning new arts and crafts skills. She is excited about a new adventure in Grade 3 at ILG School!

Arbresha Beqiri – Early Years One Homeroom Teacher

Ms.Arbresha Beqiri holds a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and is finishing her master’s at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Education.

Before and during her studies, she had the chance to work with children of different ages at different public schools around Kosovo, which helped her acquire new skills and knowledge in practice.

Born and raised in Kosovo, she moved to Boston with the desire and motivation to expand her knowledge on working with toddlers at Artisan Childcare Center as a Lead Teacher and also working as the coordinator for the Albanian School in Boston. Returning to Kosovo in 2023 she was delighted to join ILG. Firstly as a part time Teaching Assistant and now as the Early Years One Homeroom Teacher.

She is beyond grateful to be a teacher and  have the opportunity to be part of children’s growth and development at different stages of their life.

Getting to know the world is what she loves, so traveling is one of her ways of achieving it.

Argjenta Maliqi – PYP Albanian Language and Literature

Ms. Argjenta Maliqi has a Bachelor’s degree in Albanian Literature and a Master’s of Education for Teaching and Curriculum from the University of Prishtina.

Ms. Maliqi was a teacher for few years at a local daycare before joining ILG School in 2012 as a preschool assistant teacher. She has been teaching Albanian Language at ILG for a few years now.

Ms. Maliqi believes that the teaching is fun and she strives to provide the best education and care.

Arjeta Bllaca Reqica – Grade 2R Homeroom Teacher

Ms. Arjeta Bllaca-Reqica has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language with a GPA 9.89. She is about to complete her Master’s Degree in this area with only three more exams to finally finish it. She has successfully completed the TOEFL test, from which she reached a high score.

Ms. Bllaca-Reqica completed an internship in a primary school, with students who attended English language classes. She learned about the pedagogy of teaching and evaluating.

Following this, she worked as an English teacher in Kindergarten from 2016-2020. She also worked with primary school students. Ms. Bllaca-Reqica has attended various trainings regarding soft skills.

From each training, she has learned something new that she could use in teaching. Teamwork, problem solving, and time management are just some of the skills that she has challenged herself with while attending those trainings. Married with two children, Ms. Bllaca-Reqica likes writing essays and reading novels. She loves syntax, dancing and watching movies.

Trendolina Uka – Administration Coordinator ( Maternity Leave )

Ms. Trendolina Uka Zeneli joined ILG School in October 2019, with over eight years of working experience. She has excelled in a wide array of functions – from working mostly with International companies such as: Dyncorp International LLC, Isko Investments LLC, TEB Bank, Bucaj Corporation LLC, etc.

Ms. Uka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Desktop Support Technician Title from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She is thrilled to be a part of the ILG School team and gives her best everyday to provide a safe, positive, and creative environment where our students can thrive and find inspiration to reach their dreams.

Artiola Xhema – Grade 1X Homeroom Teacher

Ms. Artiola Xhema was born and raised in Prishtina. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Education – Primary Program. Throughout her studies she has won scholarships from the University of Prishtina and the Ministry of Science, Education and Technology of Prishtina.

She was most recently a teacher of an international classes and worked with Cambridge Books at the International School of Prishtina from 2022 until August 2023.

Ms. Artiola is a compassionate teacher who has great enthusiasm for teaching and a lifelong passion for education. She especially loves math and technology.

Carlos Garcia – Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher

Mr Carlos Garcia is a fully qualified teacher. He has received a Bachelor’s degree in pedagogy and a Master’s degree in teaching Spanish for foreigners. He is currently studying another Master’s in the field of education. He has studied in various countries including Norway, Mexico and Spain, his home country.

Mr. Carlos Garcia worked for three years in Ireland as a Kindergarten Montessori teacher. He also held the roles of Spanish teacher and afterschool practitioner. He worked at the American School of Kosovo last year as a K5 teacher and he is happy to join ILG school for the 2021- 2022 school year.

He loves travelling and going to the beach with his family. His passion is sports, especially football, martial arts, and water sports.

Christopher Kamugisha – MYP Sciences and DP Biology and Chemistry

Mr. Christopher Kamugisha will be joining ILG as a Secondary School MYP Science and DP Science Teacher. Originally from Uganda, Christopher started his career as a University Research Assistant, then in the beverage industry as a quality controller after obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from Kyambogo University in Kampala.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Ndejje University and is currently enrolled at Moreland University in Washington DC for a graduate IB Teaching and Learning Certificate. Christopher has experience teaching MYP Science and DP Chemistry at the International School of Uganda in Kampala and has worked as a Biology and Math tutor. He is committed to empowering and preparing students for responsible local and global citizenship in an ever-changing world. He also actively engages with students by playing sports including badminton, football, and swimming.

Delvina Blakçori – Early Years Teacher ( Maternity Leave )

Ms. Delvina Blakçori is a pre-school education graduate from University of Prishtina – Faculty of Education. She was educated in private schools in Kosovo during her middle and high school years. She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in the field of Inclusive Education from the University of Prishtina.

Ms. Blakçori is now trained to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). She is a teacher who loves her job and does things passionately by keeping in mind the children’s needs, interests, and desires.

Her goal is to have happy children in the classroom, who feel comfortable and confident to develop learning skills naturally. Ms. Blakçori serves on the ILG School Board as the Staff Representative.
