Elma Maliqi – DP and MYP Albanian Teacher and Admin Assistant

Elma Maliqi Krasniqi is a licensed teacher of Albanian Language and Literature, having completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina.”

She has several years of teaching experience, including engagement in international educational institutions, where she has contributed to the implementation of contemporary pedagogical practices. Throughout her career, she has attended and completed various professional trainings, among which the “Peer Mentoring” program stands out, strengthening her skills in professional collaboration and the improvement of teaching practices.

Elma Maliqi Krasniqi is characterized by continuous professional dedication to creating an inclusive, well-structured, and results-oriented learning environment. Her pedagogical approach focuses on developing critical thinking, improving communication skills, and enhancing students’ academic performance, while promoting a culture of excellence and sustainable learning.

Teuta Kacabac – Early Years Specialist Teacher (Visual Arts and PE) and EY3 Co-Teacher

Teuta Kacabac joined the International Learning Group (ILG) in 2023 and currently serves as an EY1 Homeroom Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Care and Well-being from AAB College, Faculty of Social Sciences. Her journey at ILG began as a Student Teacher and Teaching Assistant, followed by roles as an Early Years Specialist and EY3 Homeroom Co-Teacher.

Teuta is committed to creating caring, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where children feel confident to explore, communicate, make choices, and develop independence. She believes in the value of play, inquiry, hands-on experiences, and meaningful opportunities for children to create and collaborate.

Her professional development includes IB PYP Category 1 training in Building Your IB Programme: Primary Years, as well as training in Early Years development, inquiry-based learning, inclusion, literacy, mathematics, student agency, and purposeful planning.

In addition to her work in education, Teuta has experience as a volunteer trainer with an NGO supporting women from diverse backgrounds through mentorship and skill-building. She is passionate about inclusion, empowerment, and lifelong learning.

Albiona Vitija – Teaching Assistant

Albiona Vitija was born in Germany and studied English Language and Literature in Kosovo. She has continued to develop her professional expertise through a wide range of training and certifications, including IB PYP Category 1 Making the PYP Happen, Dyslexia, Positive Handling and Behavioural Training, and TESOL/TEFL.

Albiona began her journey at ILG School as a Teaching Assistant and has gained experience across the Early Years, PYP, and MYP programmes, supporting students with diverse learning needs. Since January 2025, she has been working as an ESS Teacher, where she is passionate about creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that promote students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Her professional development also includes Science of Reading Parts 1 and 2 and participation in the CEESA MTSS Summit, among other programmes. She is committed to supporting every student in reaching their full potential.

Albulena Beqiri Gjikolli – Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher

Albulena Beqiri Gjikolli has been a valued member of the ILG School community since 2011. She holds a degree in Computer Science from UBT and a Master’s Degree in General Pedagogy from the University of Prishtina.

With a strong commitment to Early Years education, Ms. Beqiri is passionate about creating safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environments where students feel confident to explore, develop their independence, and become lifelong learners.

Her professional development includes IB PYP training in Making the PYP Happen in the Early Years: Implementing Agency (Category 1), Developing Your Learning Community (Category 3), and Planning for Programme Evaluation (Category 3). She is committed to continuous professional growth and to supporting meaningful learning experiences for every student.

Albulena Berisha – Daycare Homeroom Teacher

Albulena Berisha Kasumi is a Daycare Teacher and has been a valued member of the ILG School community for 14 years. She has completed college studies in Customs and Freight Forwarding, as well as studies in Child Education, Care and Well-being.

With extensive experience working with young children, Albulena is passionate about creating a warm, safe, and caring environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. She believes that children learn best through play, exploration, positive relationships, and meaningful experiences.

She is committed to supporting children’s learning, development, independence, and wellbeing throughout their early years and is proud to continue contributing to their learning journey at ILG School.

Albulena Stublla – PYP & MYP French Teacher and Grade 7 Homeroom Teacher

Albulena Stublla is a PYP and MYP French Language Acquisition teacher and Language Department Coordinator at ILG School. She began her teaching career in 2008 and joined ILG School in 2012, bringing extensive experience in French language education.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature and has completed the first year of a Master’s programme in Sciences du langage – Français Langue Étrangère (FLE). She has completed IB training in both the PYP and MYP and is a qualified DELF-DALF examiner and assessor.

Her professional interests include curriculum development, multilingual education, intercultural understanding, and supporting language progression across the PYP and MYP. Outside of school, Albulena enjoys reading, travelling, spending time in nature, and discovering different cultures through music and food.

Arbresha Beqiri – Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher and Community Education Coordinator

Arbresha Beqiri holds a bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and is completing her master’s at the University of Prishtina, Faculty of Education. Her diverse experience includes working with children of various ages in public schools across Kosovo, where she acquired valuable practical skills.

 

 Additionally, Ms. Beqiri has taught English to displaced children and their families, while she has undertaken several teaching practices across different grade levels, enhancing her adaptability and knowledge. After moving to Boston, she expanded her skills at Artisan Childcare Center as a Lead Teacher and worked as the coordinator for the Albanian School in Boston. 

 

Returning to Kosovo in 2023, she joined ILG as a part-time Teaching Assistant before becoming the Early Years One Homeroom Teacher. In December 2024 she moved into the role of Grade 3 co-teacher.  She is beyond grateful to be a teacher and  have the opportunity to be part of children’s growth and development at different stages of their life. 

 

Getting to know the world is what she loves, so traveling is one of her ways of achieving it.

Argjenta Maliqi – PYP and MYP Albanian Teacher

Argjenta Maliqi Aliu is an experienced Albanian Language and Literature educator with 18 years of teaching experience. She teaches across the PYP and MYP and has also contributed to the development of the Albanian Language and Literature Diploma Programme curriculum.

Ms. Maliqi Aliu joined ILG School in 2012 as a Preschool Teacher Assistant and has been teaching Albanian Language and Literature since 2017. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, specialising in Teaching and Curriculum, and a Bachelor’s degree in Albanian Literature from the University of Prishtina. She also holds a Teaching License from the Ministry of Education.

Her professional development includes extensive IB training across the PYP, MYP, and Diploma Programme, as well as certifications in dyslexia awareness, inclusive teaching, Microsoft Innovative Education, and Cambridge English Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).

She is committed to fostering strong language and literacy skills while creating engaging, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences for students.

Arjeta Bllaca Reqica – Academic Development Specialist and ESS Teacher

Arjeta Bllaca-Reqica has been a dedicated educator for more than nine years of teaching, bringing a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her teaching roles. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in English Language Teaching and Translation. Her professional credentials are further bolstered by her completion of TEFL  from the World TESOL Academy,  TOEFL ITP exam,Dyslexia Trainings, Science of Reading courses, and various specialized online training courses focused on teaching strategies, differentiation, and more.

 

Arjeta’s journey at ILG School began as an Elementary Teaching Assistant, where her passion and commitment quickly set her apart. Her dedication led to a promotion as a Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher, followed by a role as a Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher. In these roles, Arjeta inspired her students, fostering a love for inquiry and significantly enhancing their knowledge base.

 

In addition to her homeroom roles that she has done in previous years, Arjeta currently works as an Educational Support Services Teacher for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) , and also as an Academic Development Specialist for ESS . Her involvement in various IB workshops and dyslexia training underscores her commitment to providing a well-rounded and supportive learning environment. 

 

Outside the classroom, Arjeta is a wife and mother of two adorable children. She loves watching movies, enjoys exploring new cuisines through cooking and embracing new experiences through travel.

Delvina Blakçori Bujupi – EY2 Homeroom Teacher

Delvina Blakçori-Bujupi is a Preschool Education graduate from the University of Prishtina and has been a valued member of the ILG School community since 2018. Having grown up in an international environment, she places strong value on diversity, equality, and inclusion. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment where every student feels confident, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Ms. Blakçori has a strong interest in data-informed teaching and completed a Data Analytics course through Harvard Business School to further strengthen her approach to student assessment and evaluation. She has also completed a range of professional development courses and attended numerous webinars and seminars focused on teaching and learning, literacy, student motivation, and Early Years education.

She is committed to continuous professional growth and to using evidence-based approaches to support student development and enhance learning outcomes.
